Virtual Reality (VR) has opened up new ways for the travel industry to connect with their target audiences, allowing travellers to explore a destination, tour their hotel, stroll down the beach or experience some bucket list adventure all before they have even left home.

Visualise’s CEO and co-founder, Henry Stuart, will be presenting at this year’s World Travel Market in London exploring the trends in virtual reality tourism. He’ll be addressing how the travel industry can take advantage of VR and the steps and considerations needed to achieve the best results.

VR provides the perfect platform; its advertising that can be both interactive and immersive, with the magical ability to excite and transport the viewer to your destination or engage your brand on a deeper level. But the storytelling element, or the translation of an idea into VR, comes with a new set of guidelines so that brands will get the most from their investment.

Taking a look at award-winning work with Thomas Cook, Singapore Tourism and South African Tourism, Stuart will unpack what a successful VR marketing campaign is possible of achieving.

The session, Bots, Automation & Messaging + VR Trends in Tourism is curated by Think Digital  and will take place on Wednesday November 9th 10:30 to 12:00 on the WTM Inspire Stage. The Visualise session is 11.30 – 12pm.
