Boutique Hotels came to Visualise wanting to create an internal training video which would be used to educate their employees about the brand’s luxury hotels & services around the world. The focus was on showcasing the unique & stunning locations, as well as informing the viewer about what each hotel had to offer. Visualise used the Google Jump camera to capture locations in Morocco, Denmark & Monaco in stunning stereoscopic 3D 360° video.
The final piece was then viewed on Samsung Gear VR headsets by their employees around the world, allowing the viewer to experience the brand’s other hotels which otherwise they would never have seen. Using VR to train teams of employees in this way is becoming increasingly popular for a number of reasons – the company can be confident that all employees are receiving the exact same training experience, and they avoid the expense of having to fly employees to a centralised training conference.
