Visualise have this week completed the world’s first 360 videos taken inside the Wimbledon Tennis Championships. Alongside which nineteen 360 degree high-resolution images have been integrated into the official iPad app.
The two 360 degree videos of the event have been captured by Visualise in collaboration with IBM, using a custom-built 360 live-lens camera. Together, the videos are the world’s first to unveil the real atmosphere during a match within different locations of the venue, as well as a video of the ‘Champions Walk’ which players take when walking from the changing rooms to the centre court.
“We wanted to give users of our app a very real sense of what it is like to be at Wimbledon during The Championships, and bring it to life in a unique way. The 360 degree videos and photography have helped us achieve that.” - said Mick Desmond, Commercial Director at the All England Club.
