Thomas Cook 360 Holiday VR App Launches

By Henry Stuart August 5, 2015

Visualise have just launched a completely immersive 360 VR app for Thomas Cook to showcase their Egypt resorts.

Potential Thomas Cook customers can look around in totally immersive 360 degrees at hotel rooms, have a drink at the swim up bar or sit on a stunning beach within a selection of Thomas Cook resorts.

Also included in the experiences is an excursions film giving holiday makers the opportunity to see a glimpse of the pyramids or snorkel in the beautiful reefs.

The 360 app that runs on Android and Apple iOS also provides Google Cardboard support which will be provided for free in future Thomas Cook mail order catalogues and for the first time in a google Cardboard app the application allows users to book directly from the experiences.

Visualise and Thomas Cook are also working on a series of other resorts from Thomas Cook destinations and updates to the app will continue to be rolled out.

The application is available to download for free from the Google Play and Apple App Store now but you’ll have to order a catalogue to have full use of the Google Cardboard.

* Update 12th August 2015 *
