Meantime’s 360° Virtual Reality Brewery Tour
London based craft brewers Meantime commissioned Visualise to produce a 360 degree virtual reality tour of their Greenwich brewery. The tour is designed to take viewers though the full brewing process from grain to glass, led by accredited sommelier Jethro Holman.
The experience is run on a fully functioning GearVR app, featuring binaural 3D audio alongside the 360 visuals, providing a truly immersive tour. 15,000 people visit Meantime Brewery in Greenwich annually, and now the virtual reality experience will reach visitors to Wilderness Festival and On Blackheath, offering a virtual sample of the brewing process. The experience has already had some great coverage in top technology site, Gizmodo and on Campaign Live. Head over to Meantime’s site to get the full virtual tour via your desktop or keep an eye out for Meantime popping up at an event near you soon.
Richard Myers, Marketing Director at Meantime Brewing Company comments: “We use the latest technology within our production, distribution and brewery experience, so it made sense for us to use the latest technology to take the experience to a wider audience. We’ve found that using virtual reality has helped us reach a much larger audience than we would’ve done if we solely relied on our brewery tours. Virtual reality has allowed customers to experience our brand in a completely new and fun way – a lot of those that have viewed the experience were actually experiencing virtual reality for the first time, so it enabled us to showcase our innovation and brand ethos.”

We own and operate the Opera House in Pacific Missouri...We have a bub on the first floor of our building
and would like to consider presenting a program where customers would sit around round tables in the
Opera House an experience a VR tour of (in this case) a brewery and then serve them a draft beer after the tour at their table. What do you think?
