Visualise has been developing a number of augmented reality ‘portal’ apps for clients. These allow people to hold up their phone, cast a doorway in to another world and walk through it! The content through the door can be a 360 video or a completely computer generated environment. At present the best way of experiencing a portal is through an iOS or Android app, however, Web AR is fast catching up and within 18 months this technology should be available through mobile web browsers.
