Wanted! Senior VR Producer

Visualise is currently seeking a highly experienced and technical Senior Producer with a passion for virtual reality, technology and storytelling. You must have a proven track record in end-to-end planning, decision making and producing high-end digital products, apps and/or films and commercials on time, within scope and to budget.

The chosen candidate will be an exceptional communicator versed in dealing with both internal and external stakeholders right up to board level. Further, they will thrive in a start up environment, be an excellent trouble-shooter and be willing to turn a hand to tasks from basic level right through to ownership of producing deliverables. In return, the chosen candidate will be involved in development of new content, features, budgeting/scheduling of resources and working closely with the leadership team. Some travel may be required in attending client locations.

Salary:                 Dependant on Experience/Qualification

Key responsibilities – project delivery (to include but are not limited to):
• Senior day-to-day client contact for allocated projects
• Plan and deliver VR projects successfully, liaising effectively with the Business Director, Executive Producer, production and technology teams as applicable
• Manage project milestones and deliverables in accordance with the agreed schedule
• Work closely with the Executive Producer to ensure quality of content passing through studio
• Monitor project related performance and productivity in terms of time and money versus budget liaising with department team leads where not on track to resolve/apply appropriate escalation/remedy
• Maintain awareness of the clients’ needs and project parameters
• Build and maintain client relationships to maximise repeat and referred business
• Liaise and assist the Business Director in preparing bid responses
• Provide verbal and written progress reports to clients, management and internal teams every week

Key responsibilities – commercial and finance (to include but not limited to):
• Ensure signed SOWs/POs are in place on client work
• Quote generation, invoicing, procurement of 3rd party costs and project cost reconciliation
• Ensure quotes are commercially viable and invoices go to clients accurately and timely
• Ensure out of scope items and overruns are managed appropriately and commercially
• Assist with collection of payments from clients as and when required
• Work with finance and the Business Director to ensure accurate forecasting

Key responsibilities – people management (project management) (to include but not limited to):
• Manage the recruitment, development and performance of team ensuring team targets are met
• Demonstrate cohesive behaviour across the business
Person Specification:
• Educated to degree level or equivalent in business and/or production related field
• Min 3 years experience in a Senior Producer role with strong technical and people management experience
• Must have track record in delivering successful productions and credited experience as a producer
• Must be highly organised with first-class time, conflict and project management skills
• Ability to think and act strategically, practically and commercially whilst building strong relationships
• Excellent understanding of the digital landscape and content marketing
• Experienced in managing high value budgets
• Comfortable in a fast paced startup environment where ambiguity is part of the process
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with a thorough understanding of Video, VFX, Digital workflows
• Aware of Agile approaches to product development
• Certified Scrum Master a plus
• Strong work ethic and ability to work as a team leader and team player
• Confidence to liaise effectively with all levels of management internally, suppliers and clients where applicable
• Passionate, conveys enthusiasm, calm, confident, proactive, innovative and intellectually curious, able to deal with ambiguity and demonstrates drive to succeed and work in a fast-paced environment
