Visualise Nominated for Cannes Festival!
Visualise are delighted to have been nominated for Cannes this year for our project ‘Symphony‘ with Igor Studio, Glassworks and La Caixa. The film features the world renowned conductor Gustavo Dudamel and the Mahler Chamber Orchestra and takes the viewer on a journey through the heart of classical music.
The film is nominated in the Cannes XR festival in the format 360 video and can be watched on the ‘Museum of Other Realities‘ and on ‘VeeRVR‘ between the 6th and 17th July. More information here on the Cannes site.
The project was over a year in the planning and production, featuring a 100 piece orchestra and a crew of nearly the same size in lighting, logistics, art direction, production support, camera tech, streaming tech, immersive audio, make-up, art direction, rigging, agency and client.
The shoot was at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona and split over 5 days, with two of the days for capturing the incredible violin maker, David Bague in his beautiful studio.
The experience can be watched outside of the Cannes Festival in Barcelona at a permanent installation in the city. More information on the project can be found on the Dudamel Foundation website here.
