European Bank for Reconstruction and Development VR Films

Visualise has created a series of VR films for the EBRD. Each film tells the story of an EBRD project in a specific region using immersive filmmaking. We have travelled to Bosnia, Albania, Jordan and Croatia, covering transport infrastructure, electricity, and tourism related projects. The films are used to show the impact of the EBRD projects at both conferences and to potential investors and stakeholders, generating interest in future projects.

The above film shows our ‘Green Cities’ project -which takes a broad approach to identifying and prioritising environmental challenges and connecting them with infrastructure investments and policy measures. Essentially the EBRD are investing in and developing large scale green related projects in cities across Europe and beyond. We created the film, allowing the EBRD to demonstrate some of these projects in the most realistic and immersive way possible, transporting people right in to the heart of them.

The films are documentary in their style, featuring an EBRD presenter and interviews with key characters/stakeholders from the projects. We capture the content on our Meta Cameras and feature a mixture of static and moving shots from cars and drones.
