At the Cannes Lions Festival Visualise have, this week, produced a Gigapixel image of the world’s first hand-painted micrography billboard made entirely of tweets. The image of the billboard showcases a mural composed of thousands of tweets around the topic of ‘realising creative potential’, generated by Clear Channel’s highly successful #canvas for creativity social media debate.
The collection of tweets showcases the best comments, perspectives, observations and quotes on to the giant 16m x 4m canvas. Visualise have featured their innovative gigapixel technology, whereby each tweet author and visitor to the site can search for their tweet by their Twitter handle to see where it features on the mural. A video showcases the artists creating the #canvas for creativity, produced by Visualise and Clear Channel Online for the event.
